Pennies Day Nursery

Pennies Day Nurseries offer ‘the very best in childcare learning and fun’. This has been their mission since Penny Scotton first founded the company that bears her name. 

Today Pennies provides nursery care and education for children between three months and five years old, and through their Kids Clubs, they also run exciting activities at breakfast and after school times, and during holidays for children up to eleven years of age. Pennies works hard to ensure their facilities, staff and day to day work are the very best.

Pennies at Newnham Court Shopping Village opened in 2005, providing facilities of the highest quality and a home for their Breakfast, After School and Holiday Clubs.

Fully air-conditioned and equipped throughout with under-floor heating and two fully fitted kitchens, parents describe Newnham Court as ‘welcoming.’ It is bright, colourful and echoing with the happy sound of children.

Pennies at Newnham Court Shopping Village houses a baby unit and luxurious rooms for children up to the age of five. The upstairs PKC area is home to Breakfast and After School Clubs and during school holidays is often transformed for theme days when the Holiday Club take over the space.

This site also houses most of Pennies administration and offices and offers rooms for hire for purposes linked with childcare. They also offer space for in-service training of teachers, antenatal groups and Saturday morning activity groups for children.
