Pennies Day Nursery

Pennies Day Nurseries and Kids Club offer ‘the very best in childcare learning and fun’. Pennies is family-run and always has been. Founded by Penny Scotton (a nursery nurse with a personal vision of childcare) we have always seen our work as an inclusive offer to join the Pennies’ family and enjoy the sense of belonging and support.

Pennies at Newnham Court Shopping Village opened in 2005, providing facilities of the highest quality and a home for their Breakfast, After School and Holiday Clubs. Fully air-conditioned and equipped throughout with under-floor heating and two fully fitted kitchens, parents describe Newnham Court as ‘welcoming.’ It is bright, colourful and echoing with the happy sound of children.

Today Pennies provides nursery care and education for children between three months and five years old, and through their Kids Clubs, they also have breakfast and an after school club. During the school holiday they host holiday clubs for children up to eleven years of age. Pennies works hard to ensure their facilities, staff and day to day work are the very best.

Pennies at Newnham Court Shopping Village houses a baby unit and luxurious rooms for children up to the age of five. The upstairs PKC area is home to Breakfast and After School Clubs and during school holidays is transformed for theme days when the Holiday Club take over the space.
