Pavers shoes is a family run British shoe business, founded in 1971 in York, by Catherine Paver, an ambitious mum, who took out a £200 bank loan (she told them for a sofa!) to fund her new business passion to find the perfect style for everyone’s feet.
Starting off small, sales were originally made through village hall fairs, events and house parties, but through her determination and desire to source and sell shoes that fit well and look great, the business quickly grew.
Cathy was later joined by her sons, Graham, Stuart (Managing Director) and Ian, who have helped to nurture the family business, along with its drive and passion to be a leader in stylish yet high quality comfort footwear.
Pavers now has a dedicated buying team and is one of the UK’s leading comfort shoe retailers, with over 130 retail outlets and a focus on quality with affordability.
They sell their own own brand of shoes, sandals and boots, as well as popular brands such as Sketchers, Fly Flot, Padders and many more.
