A Little TLC for Newnham Court Shopping Village: Main Centre Roofing Works Update

We're giving the main centre at Newnham Court Shopping Village a bit of a makeover this summer and autumn! Some essential roofing works are being carried out, which means a handful of our shops will be temporarily closed while the work takes place. We know this might cause a little inconvenience, but it's all part of keeping Newnham Court Shopping Village looking its best for years to come.

Here's what to expect, and when:

Phase 1: 15th June – 3rd August
Butchers of Brogdale, AHM Installations, and Fineline Windows and Doors indoor showroom will be closed while work is carried out above their units.

Phase 2: 3rd August – 21st September
Coffee Corner restaurant will be taking a short break — we'll miss our morning catch-ups, but they'll be back before you know it!

Phase 3: 21st September – 9th November
Klass, Bonmarche, and the Gift Shop will be closed during this final phase.

The good news? The rest of the shopping village will be open as usual throughout, so there's still plenty to explore, whether you're popping in for a bite to eat at Bricks Coffee House, a browse around the Notcutts garden centre, or a wander with friends. We can't wait to welcome everyone back into the refreshed shops once the work is complete - and a huge thank you in advance for your patience and understanding while we get the job done.

Coffee Corner is taking a short break and will reopen on Saturday 5th September - we can't wait to welcome you back!

New Main Entrance

Our New Main Entrance is now via the New Cut Road Roundabout (on the Bearsted Road). Taking the first exit onto Newnham Court Way, then turn immediately left following signage to Newnham Court Shopping Village
Our main car park is now straight ahead to Bricks Coffee House, Cotton Traders, Notcutts Garden Centre, The Butcher of Brogdale and all your favourite shops and restaurants
A new additional onsite road provides direct access to Oast Court - home for Sussex Beds, Cotswold, Runnersneed, Pennies, Gymfinity, Charterwood Mobility and Newnham Court Veterinary Hospital
Clear signage is in place to guide you, and we recommend allowing a little extra time for your first visit while you get familiar with the new route. Essentially, where the original entrance is closed you continue onto the New Cut roundabout as you would when exiting Newnham Court Shopping Village, taking the first left into Newnham Court way and immediately left into Newnham Court Shopping Village - it should add only a few seconds to your journey
